Meet Chef Laurent Cambon. 

Our regulars have noticed that the quality at The Leopard Deli is second to none.  We regularly hear "Omg! That's the best lasagne/ arancini/ puttanesca/ steak I have ever tasted!"  With 25 years in the role of Head Chef at Sydney's Famous Machiavelli's Restaurant, Laurent chooses the highest quality ingredients to bring you Italian and French classics.  You can read more about Chef Laurent's international culinary career on The Australian Good Food Guide

Why The Leopard?

And... if you want to know about the name, let's just say we were inspired by The Leopard, Lampedusa's  masterpiece, and one of the finest works of twentieth century fiction. As Lampedusa translated the rich cultural history of Sicily into a tasty novel - we hope to do the same for your tastebuds. 
 

Weekends we are open day to night - the bar is open!

Weekends we stretch great food and service across the day, from 8am for breakfast, through brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, campari sunset time, and dinner! So join us, we're open!!!

 

Traditional Italian, and with a  French twist.

Our menu is primarily Italian, with pasta and focaccia's our hero specialities.  But we know  our Chef wants to suprise and delight you with new dishes - particularly French classics - all made the traditional way.  No short cuts at The Leopard Deli - we're passionate about ingredients and process. 

Bombolini!!! Bombolini!!!

Bombolini are deep fried donuts, stuffed with a crema
 pasticcera of chocolate, custard or pistaccio.  These seriously moorish flavour bombs are made in house, fresh daily!

Group bookings

Our weekends and nights can get really busy, so please book a 
table for up to 6 people on our booking page, or email melissa@theleoparddeli.com.au if you need to book for 7 or more people.  

For large groups, we'll suggest some shared entrees, to get  you in and relaxing sooner.
